TOM ZÉ

[ Irará: 1936 ] He is a passionate fan of the music of the Northeast. He never tired of interpreting popular folksongs at the start of his career. His production is based on the originality of Northeastern culture and the sophistication of contemporary music and poetry. He has been deeply marked by the experience and people of the small town of Irará where he was born. It is as if the town were an alphabet the artist uses when he talks and thinks about the universe.
